Allegations of Murder in Mumbai
In a shocking incident in Mumbai, a 40-year-old man has been accused of strangling his five-year-old stepdaughter and disposing of her body in the Arabian Sea. Authorities confirmed the arrest of the suspect, identified as Imran Sheikh, on Tuesday.
According to police reports, the child's body was discovered floating in the sea near Sassoon Dock in South Mumbai by local officers on Tuesday morning. The motive behind this tragic act remains unclear at this time.
An official stated that the girl had been reported missing from the Antop Hill area in central Mumbai. Both her stepfather, Sheikh, and her mother, Nazia, had filed a missing person report at the Antop Hill police station. Nazia works as a domestic helper.
